That is really pretty. What are you going to do with it? Are marigolds poisonous to eat? I thought people put fresh ones in salads or made tea or something? No?
i love this collection! since being in sweden i have been trying to think of what to start collecting. so far bottle caps are going, since there are so many interesting ones out here. i think it's not proper to take plants and things out of their natural habitat, otherwise i would like to get some dried flowers from around here.
one shouldn't take an entire plant out of the wild but I seriously don't see the harm in plucking a single bloom off of a seriously bloom saturated plant. Maybe at the local parks one would be more likely to turn the blind eye. press that shit.
when I was in 3rd grade, we planted marigolds and learned that that the seeds when they dry out can be replanted. i got excited at the thought of keeping that same plant lineage going. i think it lasted 2 years and then i lost interest.
